Our Beliefs

The point of our worship, the focus of the Bible and the reason why we gather is found in Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God, “the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” He “was pierced for our transgressions” and “crushed for our iniquities.”

“This is how God showed His love among us, He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10

No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God loves you and invites you to know Him personally. Come and see the good news of His grace for you in Jesus Christ

We gather every week as a community of faith to celebrate what God is doing in our lives as we surrender ourselves fully to Him. Through prayer, Bible study, and reflection, we encourage one another to grow in a deeper relationship with God.

Community
Building Intentional Relationships
We create environments for all ages to intentionally meaningful relationships as we encourage and support one another in becoming more like Jesus everyday in our lives.

Mission
Sacrificially Serving God to The World
We share our time, energy, and resources to share God’s love and make a difference in the world. We do this by bringing our unique gifts and passions together to see the deep and varied needs of our neighbors, our city and our world.

Reformed Confession

Pottersville Reformed Church is a member of the Reformed Church in America (RCA), a denomination that affirms the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, the Belhar Confession and the Heidelberg Catechism as our Confessions of Faith.

The Reformed Church believes that Christians do not earn their salvation, but that it is a wholly unmerited gift from God or what we know as grace, and we now live for God in gratitude as a response who have received this gift of grace.
